We've been making blue-ribbon-good candy since 1935, and we still make it...

We've been making blue-ribbon-good candy since 1935, and we still make it the old-fashioned way, hand-dipping pecans and candies using family recipes. Only the pick of the harvest makes it into our candies. Watch from our upstairs viewing area as favorites like pralines and pecan brittle are being made. Taste it all at the Free Sampling table. If the car's too full to take it all home, order from our website we'll ship it fresh to your door. Southern Living has named us one of their top food finds. You'll agree when you find our slow-cooked Southern favorites. Our hot buffet served daily, and you can make your own favorite sandwich or salad at our cold bar. Our hot lunch bar is served from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and our cold bar is served from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.. Our food area is filled with many delicious items including pickles, syrups, gourmet coffees, salad dressings, jams and jellies. We also have sixteen flavors of ice cream! Browse through our gift shop and find many unique and wonderful gifts. There is something for everyone. Home decor, gardening items, toys, garden flags, greeting cards, baby gifts, t-shirts, and a large array of regional and seasonal gift ideas are always available. We look forward to seeing you soon!

This was actually my second time stopping in Priester's pecans in Fort Deposit Alabama. The first time, my husband loved it which is really surprising because he's hard to please. The second time my daughter loved it equally as well. Lots of sweets samples available, plus home cooking served at the lunch hour, along with an eclectic southern style gift... More

Priester's is a wonderful place to stop while traveling! The samples of pecans are great! Good way to decide which kind you want to buy. They have a nice lunch area, snack bar, ice cream and they even show you how pecans are processed! The gift shop is amazing! Such a great place to take a break from driving! We... More

Great place to stop for Pecans. Right off I-65 and easy to get to. Had lots of pecans to choose from. They have a quaint little shop as well. Prices seemed reasonable. Pecans were yummy!!!

We found this place a little over a year ago as a nice place to take a break when driving back to Wisconsin. They have samples of almost everything they sell, and we definitely walk out of there with more than we planned on buying! I always have to bring back the key lime pecans for my mom. They also... Sorry for the bad pun in the title, but it is the absolute truth. We walked in to a large variety of flavored pecans and made our way around the sampling table. Their pecans, sauces, and other goodies were all fresh and delicious. We walked out with a bag of key lime pecans and a new place to stop on... More

We always stop here on the way home from the beach. It's soooo good. On the weekdays you can watch the candy being made from upstairs. White chocolate pecans are my fav. You can also eat lunch, ice cream aside from the candy. The coffee is good too.

Priester's is a special treat for us. We always make the drive down when we visit my grandparents in Selma. They have so many varieties and everything tastes so good! I love that you can sample so you can buy with confidence knowing you'll enjoy your purchase. We love their gift shop (I just wish it wasn't so expensive!) and... More

Priester's is located just off I-65, with easy access on and off the freeway. They have a great selection of Pecans of various coating and seasonings, and most of them can be sampled before you buy. The prices are reasonable considering the product quality. Worth your time to walk around for a few minutes.
