Gulf State Park's two miles of beaches greet you with plenty of white sun-kissed sand, surging surf, seagulls and sea shells, but there is more than sand and surf to sink your toes into. Inside Gulf State Park there is a championship golf course, new beach pavilion, rental cottages, tennis courts, camp sites, hiking trails, Zip Line, and a fishing pier that is 20-feet wide and extends 1,512 feet into the Gulf. This and much more make Gulf State Park the perfect in-state vacation or out-of-state adventure.

We live in Pensacola and camp frequently in the surrounding area but had never been to this campground. It was great. Park is very large, bring your bikes or sneakers. I hear a lot of locals complain that it is hard to find a spot....More

We love this park. The bike trails are fantastic. There are tons of amenities: golf course, tennis, pool, lake, and beach! What more could you ask for? Paved full hook-up RV sites, some waterfront on lake.

Yes, I did not notice cable in my hook-up; if it was there i missed it; nonetheless, we got many broadcast channels over the air. All the usual suspects from both Mobile and Pensacola (NBC, ABC, FOX, weather, on and on).

The primitive sites do not have water and electric. You will need to get an RV site for that. Many of their RV sites are good for tents (flat grassy area, shade, etc.), but not all. You will need to either do some research... More
