Whether you're a bird lover or not this is a great place to visit. There are a lot of trails to explore and wildlife along with the beautiful flora and fauna along the boardwalk. Parking is conveniently located at the entrance of the boardwalk too.

Alabama has a plethora of wildlife, and many species of birds along the coast. The birding trail is made for avid avian fans, with convenient parking, trails, boardwalks, etc. situated in key locations to allow observation with minimal disturbance to the birds and other wildlife....More

This is the only area of the birding trail that I have been to, but it is very nice and secluded. I walked the Pine Beach Trail from Fort Morgan Road to the beach and could see no one for miles. Saw lots of birds...More

It depends upon the time of the year, but we have seen a variety of birds. And some where life birds for us. On State Road #2 we have seen and photographed as many as 6 Osprey on different trees. Great Blues and Royal Terns....More

Great for photographers. Birds of very many species. Many great pictures to be had. If you are a photographer of landscapes or birds this is your place.
