Nice zoo. Not too big that it kills you to take in all the great animals, that appear to be well taken care of. Nice gator exhibit. Extremely nice staff. Needs a bigger sign , you can easily miss the entrance even with gps.

The zoo has lots of animals and you can get up close and personal with them. Admission is very reasonable but can add up if you include experiences like playing with the kangaroos. Still less expensive than larger zoos. I will go back. The tigers...More

Not a bad zoo to visit..but not great. Prices to get in weren't too bad, but slightly high for the size of the zoo. Staff was friendly and the zoo was clean. The snack bar was closed, not a huge deal for us. The encounters...More

Before I start my review, let me preface by saying that it is my understanding that the zoo is moving to a bigger location. Good! To my thinking, the animals here were in very small, run down enclosures. There wasn’t a huge variety although the...More

Awesome way to kill time and get away from the beach. This little zoo has an awesome collection of big cats that can be seen up close. My daughter's had a blast.

Very nice zoo. Was wondering why there really wasn’t a sign at the road. We paid for entrance and bought some animal food. You can pay $10 to have some interactions with the animals. The employees here were awesome and very friendly. Loved the layout...More

This is a small zoo, so you won't walk your legs off like at some big zoos. Several monkey and bird cages are scattered throughout, along with larger animals. Don't miss the HUGE alligator named Chuckie! We watched one cage of capuchin monkeys for about...More

I don’t remember a hippo. It’s a smaller to medium size zoo. It’s not super crowded. If you want a major zoo you could go to the New Orleans Zoo which is less than 3 hours from this location . Hope this helped.
