We had a lake view room in the lodge. You can also see the lake from the state park roads and surrounding roads. It is absolutely beautiful to sit and enjoy the lake!

Guntersville Lake is longer and much larger than I anticipated. There are many more boat ramps and scenic overlooks. Easy to rent a boat for fishing.

The traffic on the water was high, but all in all a good stay. Lake Guntersville is beautiful but at times highly trafficked. Too many people not respecting fishing space..

The lake is beautiful, clean and huge! The lake has a wonderful history being a manmade lake built in the 1930's by the TVA. I really enjoyed the history and the wonderful views.
