Went for the Indian festival. This was my first visit and it was absolutely gorgeous. I must go back and spend more time there. I have lived a couple miles from here for 6 years and this was my first visit. Everyone should check it out.

Their is a nice trail here with plenty of walking room. It's great to have a spot like this in such an urban area. We did get the membership that does allow us to fish and bring our dogs on certain days. It's a gem hidden in Hoover.

My daughter got married here in July several years back. There is a beautiful pond and shaded walk ways through the wooded area with flowers. Loved it!

Wonderful spot for a walk in nature. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the turtles play. We spent time sitting by the gorgeous lake and watching the swans and ducks. A bit of heaven amid the hustle and bustle less than a few miles away... Family friendly!

My husband and I recently visited the gardens for an afternoon picnic and getaway. The gardens are lovely and we enjoyed just sitting and watching the geese and ducks. Don't forget to visit the garden shop because they have unique gardening gifts. This is a great place to spend a few hours walking through the gardens (and it is free).

I attended a field trip with my son's 2nd grade class to Aldridge Gardens. I had no idea this place was so scenic and available for the public to view. The gardens were beautiful, and the staff was helpful. The kids got great demonstrations on which types of soil are better for growing plants and also got to make compost... More

Aldridge Gardens is a lovely place to relax with a book by the lake, stroll through a meandering path bordered by Snowflake Hydranges (and other varieties), pause by the babbling brook as it makes its way to the lake, or do a power walk around the perimeter. The house and pavilion are lovely venues for receptions and parties. Inside the... More

The layout is very pretty with a trail around the pond providing a nice view. There is very little incline so an easy walk and not very long. Lots of spots to just sit and enjoy the peac and quiet. A lovely escape.

A friend introduced me to Aldredge Gardens many years ago. I visit there nearly monthly when I need to get away from it all. The sensation is amazing from the first time you walk through the gate. You are no longer in Hoover or Alabama for that matter. You have stepped through a portal into another world. Pack a lunch,... More
