There are outdoor areas with examples of Saturn V rockets, full size Space Shuttle with the propulsion rockets and fuel tanks. These are both awesome to see up close. The size is breath taking. There are also other types of rockets, military vehicles, helicopters, a mock up of the lunar lander and much more. On site you can experience two... More

Very informative place to visit and learn more about the NASA space program. Real old rockets and capsules. Interesting to talk to the older people who worked at nasa during the first moon walk

What a wonderful experience. So much to see, we could have easily spent two days here. Well worth the time.

Had a blast with the family exploring the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Mid-August during the week and the facility was not crowded. My teenager and tween loved the hands on Archimedes activities, as well as watching the 3D space movies and (of course) the gift shop. We enjoyed seeing the full sized Saturn V rockets, and... More

It was somewhat overhyped and so I expected more than what we saw. Best part is the children's camp, which I wish we had known about when the kids were little. Got a great photo of the space station toilet, which I uploaded. And it was mind-bending to see the Saturn V up close! But what concerns me is the... More

We've been here many times (6, now) with our four kiddos. We love that the exhibits change frequently and that they're always hands on and so much fun! If you have a membership to a Smithsonian affiliate museum you can get in free of charge with their reciprocity agreements!

First visual experience driving in is the Pathfinder shuttle, and the store has some great items of interest to bring home, not just t shirts. Attended a function here, we were able to have drinks/apps and walk through many areas inside the museum, had lots of fun and the people were very helpful. Would like to go back and spend... More

Enjoyed the day here. Lots of cool things for the kids and educational to boot. The zero gravity thing always makes me sick, but lots of people enjoy it. The rides aren't Disney, but the cost certainly isn't either. Enough to keep you busy for a day, but small enough to not have to rush through it all. Overall a... More
