My daughter loved this place. Chaperoned a field trip here and the kids loved it. Lots to see and do for kids at or over 7. My daughter loved trying to make butter and yarn, and seeing exactly how people lived then.

What a beautiful spot. Loved the yarn-bombs around trees on the way up. Walking trails are even and well groomed.

The mansion was quite interesting - the docent quite well informed and friendely, but the other buildings were fascinating. I really liked seeing the way a family could set up a one room building and have space for everything without seeming crowded. There were play...More

I had a group at the Sanders Family Christmas at Burritt on the Mountain in Huntsville on Dec. 16 and it was a wonderful event. They were highly entertaining. The music and drama were both outstanding. Well worth seeing!
