Harmony Park Safari is a great drive through safari just south of Huntsville. The animals will come right up to your car as you're driving along, and you can buy food to feed them. We saw emu, goats, deer, bison, cattle, and other critters during our drive through. At the end you can park and walk through an area that... More

This is as much fun for the adults as it is for the kids. Be sure and buy 2 buckets of food. A must stop when you are in the Huntsville, Al. area.

This park is a must do for familes with kids! It's the closest thing to a zoo in Huntsville. You will drive up, pay a fee per person I believe, pay for a bucket of feed and then drive around a circular road slowly while viewing/ tossing feed to the various animals. I kept the windows rolled up close to... More

I really enjoyed the close contact with the zebra and buffalo. The hand feeding of the tortoises was nice.

This place was so much fun for my family. We all had a blast feeding the many different animals. I ended up with a camels head in my lap! Lol. This is a little pricey but totally worth the price. Just be warned that you will think you've gotten lost trying to get there. It is way out in the... More

Ok...first, getting there...I wasn't convinced we were going the right way because it was a little remote. Once we arrived, we drove up to the ticket booth, paid the entry fees and bought a bucket of food. (It was a little pricey.) We drove through and had a blast feeding all the animals. They will come up and put their... More

This is such a fun place to visit! A drive - through that thrills young & old! Animals come up to you as soon as you drive through the gates. Of course they want food! Emus & a zebra, I've seen giraffes, water buffalo---- come right up to the car! It's a little tricky to feed them without them sticking... More

This is a drive through zoo. My grandchildren ages 12 and 9 both laughed our way through the park. The animals have figured out that near the entrance they are most likely to get fed since everyone has just purchased the buckets of food. The goats can get a little assertive. Do NOT take your luxury car as some animals... More

Highly recommend. Zebra, giraffe, bulls, deer, turtles, etc. You feed them out of your car window. Great photo opportunity.

Huntsville Safari: lots of fun, but note that the place is pretty small. Total drive through is about half a mile. The animals are expecting visitors to feed them, which is either great fun or off-putting, depending on your mindset. Even the big animals that don’t want food walk right up to your window. I had both a bison and... More
