Just a fantastic place and a must-see. Beautiful grounds, fountains, buildings and of course flowers and trees and shrubs. Make a point of eating there as its not just a snack bar but a mini-restaurant run by the chef from Albany Bistro near Decatur. I had the best Southern Fried Chicken ever! The chef said it's his grandmother's recipe.

We went to the Botanical gardens as a group, my wife, sister, niece and myself. They had many parts of the garden open and budding. It is easy to travel and view everything there , as they also have a shuttle that you can ride if you need assistance. They have a limited number of wheel chairs available. There was a... More

During a recent family visit to Huntsville, we took a variety of folks ranging in age from over 80 to 16 years old. All enjoyed the environment and the well maintained areas. From a quiet and easy walk to the butterfly displays, this is a great location. This is an excellent location - as we visited last Fall and again... More

Visiting Botanical Gardens is a pastime of ours, and this one is impressive! Beautiful grounds and buildings, fountains and areas for the kids. Plenty of free parking, a nice cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, and a very nice gift shop. We really enjoyed it. Sorry to have missed the butterflies, but that isn't accessible until May. Definitely recommend!

We enjoy Botanical gardens when traveling and have seen many. This Garden did not disappoint. Large, neat, and colorful. We spent a few hours walking the grounds. They are adding on with additions so the potential is great. Recommend.

I don't have the opportunity to visit the Huntsville Botanical Garden often, but when I do, a sense of relaxation and peacefulness washes over me. It's like I've entered into a magical place that is immune to the hustle an bustle of the everyday world. Their new Visitor Center is beautiful and I can't wait to try their new restaurant.... More

We keep a year long membership because my kids love coming here. They are always changing the themes and the kids always find something new to explore every time we come. It's a great place to picnic and in the summer the kids love splashing around in the myriad water features. I'm so glad to see this place expand and... More

Take a trip to Birmingham instead. We brought our parents here and we were all underwhelmed. Fortunately it was a nice day outside to make up or the lackluster displays.

Has great potential. Many new plantings and very well done visitors center. Great location but needs a few years to mature. Would be a nice location for a family picnic.
