I'm so glad that you enjoyed the Japanese Tea Garden but hate to see you had a difficult time findind the trail markers. I'll bring this to our maintenance attention and try to get the issue remedied as soon as possible.

Nice place, good hiking paths, but there's many other places to hike or walk in Huntsville or Madison County where you don't have to pay $5 per day. There's also places in Huntsville that have sidewalks which is convenient for dog walking such as Aldridge...More

We did the Stone Cuts trail while there and all of us enjoyed it. It's pretty short and easy so we were able to bring an 8 and 11 year old. Even though it was winter and the trees were dead, it was still cool...More

Unsure, but the staff is very friendly; if desire later check out simply ask upon checking in - our request for an extra hour has never been turned down at any state park/camping venue.

Planning on going there with 40 ft diesel motorhome. We have large site reserved but wondering if any problems getting to campground......as far as height clearances (limbs) on Bankhead Pky or into campground itself?

I am planning to spend a week in Huntsville while my granddaughter attends Space Camp looking for things to do for week and a place to stay that isn't very expensive
