This is a mostly private collection of all things military from the Revolutionary War through the middle eastern wars. Everything is well labeled. It is housed inside and outside an old airplane hanger. THIS is a MUST see! It is also very affordable and a great place to take your kids or grandkids. We all need to appreciate our military... Amazing collection, a hidden gem in Huntsville. A must see when visiting Huntsville, something you would not expect being so vast in artifacts.

This is an awesome little museum! It is packed with everything from small artifacts to vehicles mostly from WWII, but including other eras as well. The staff are very friendly and love to help.

This facility is unbelievable - we've never seen such an exhibit of firearms, jeeps, tanks, etc. from WWII, Korea & Vietnam. In fact, a replica of the jeep my husband drove while in Vietnam was included. Knowledgeable volunteers are there to assist your viewing time. They've just about outgrown their space.

For a quick and quiet visit to see some in-depth displays this is a great location. It is not pretentious or expensive to visit. Rather, the displays are well done - and the staff very engaging if you have a question. Strongly recommend visiting.

This is filled with mostly WWII equipment. I took my Dad here. He had been in the 1st CAV during WWII and was familiar with much of the stuff. He educated the guides, which isn't that easy

This walkabout is beautifully done. The design and layout is a captivating chronological display of all the wars & conflicts the US has participated in. It truly is a sight to see .....the subtle artwork and statues were amazing and respectfully depicted the men & women whom served our country so valiantly. It truly is worth every minute spent.

This museum has a large number of uniforms, guns, cannons, tanks, etc. It covers from the Revolutionary War to present. There is a train boxcar given to the state of Alabama as a gift from France after World War II. The military jeep with serial number 1 is there. This is a must see for any Military enthusiast.

I have visited the Veterans Memorial Museum many times. They have an amazing collection of uniforms dating back to the revolutionary war. There are exhibits from every war in which American soldiers have fought. There is an extensive library housing thousands of books, many of which not available anywhere else. There is so much contained at this Museum: jeeps, trucks,... More
