Good place to visit when you are in South Goa. You can have some beautiful sea views from here. Easily accessible also. There is a small church is also located within the premises.

Good place to visit in the evening. If you are staying in Palolem, you can visit this fort and Agonda. Actually nothing much to see in the fort. Buy, you can have beautiful views of the sea from this place. You can even get down to the sea. In brief, a nice and calm place for an evening visit.

It is said that this fort was build by lord Rama and later on conquered by the Portuguese and used as a prison. There is a chapel inside also with services most of the days. Nature is beautiful around and the stones amazing. Worth a visit

The Cabo do Rama fort is located close to Agonda beach and falls on the way to the famous Palolim beach in Goa. The site is being preserved by the Archaelogical Survey of India and you can still see the cannons that would wreck havoc on incoming enemy ships. The fort is dilapidated but one can imagine the erstwhile grandeur.... More

Found this somewhere on net, then went ahead to explore the place. Route is very calm n beautiful, views from the outside are magnificent and one can have awesome clicks from the fort and outside the entrance with magnificent sea views. Fort is quite old and not left with beautiful architecture, but there is one church in excellent position within... More

Visited the fort as part of an unplanned day trip organised by the driver. We were on the way to the beach to see the sunset and he suggested to stop by the fort as we had time. The fort was amazing and the views outstanding. Would recommend as a top destination in Goa.

You'd hear of this attraction from very few folks, it's tucked away at the southern end of Goa, about 12-15 KM from Varca. There is no cell coverage, no directions, no fuel stations and very few folks around - download offline maps & gas-up before you go here. The attraction requires a bit of climbing, but it's worth the effort... More

Visited this place in April. Not too many tourists. Great views from top of the fort. There's a nice chapel on top of the fort. Must visit place if your anywhere close to agonda or palolem beach.
