The sites of attraction are all clustered conveniently here at the Dutch Square, and at Jonker street, which are located in the vicinity of Melaka river. A great place in Malacca to spend one day at!

Took the cruise along Malacca River. It is a terrible ride as it is so boring down with nothing much to view on both sides. Avoid at all cost.

Take a walk down the river during the day and you will not be disappointed! Keep your eyes peeled and you may see dragons! Only joking. But you may see monitor lizards basking which once disturbed will slip effortlessly into the river and swim away....More

Very serene and relaxing, but the river itself is dirty and needs cleaning. Saw a lizard swimming in the river when I was there with my family!

There is a long stretch of wooden bridge for pedestrian along the river. The walk would cover having a peek at different races of people living harmoniously within the same place. Interesting building structures for different types of people. Many hotels or B&B are also...More

Historical malacca river has cleaned up nice. There are a few restaurants within the vicinity which one can patronize and enjoy the malacca river view. But the weather is really hot!!

The river, the cruise, and the river walk… those three small activities made our day. I would suggest taking one of the river cruises and see the buildings, graffiti, wall paintings, cute balconies with the flowers…

Like every other river it's got dirty water and shops and restaurants on the side of it, and of course you can ride a boat up and down it.

I love cruises! If there's a cruise in the city that I am visiting, then that would be the first thing I'd do. We did the cruise at sunset, and it was wonderful seeing the old town slowly being lit up. They did a great...More
