I walk along from the Dutch square to the river n up to this church. Ended on the wall of Malacca as an UNESCO city. The church looks so bold but beautiful. The white brown structure will capture your heart. I don't go inside but enjoying taking picture along. Around it, you will find ancient scatter structure.

It is one of those old church, small and intimate. I have been to many churches and this is the first one i saw with a St Michael Statue. I went to mass early in the morning at 7.30am and I like this timing as I could go back to the hotel for the breakfast.

Went for service on Sunday. Extremely peaceful and serene. Church was built in memory of Francis Xavier the missionary. Statue of him with a Japanese disciple outside.

We visited there because it was on our way from the hotel to the Dutch Square. It is a beautiful old building, but you can't get inside as in the case of many churches around the world. Coming from Japan, where Francisco Xavier also came for missionary purposes, it was an interesting place to visit.

Located nearby to other major tourist attractions. You get a lovely feeling when entering the church the lights , glasses used in the window so vibrant and beautiful. Such a peaceful place with lot of birds chirping around Looks beautiful from the outside.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go inside the church but from the outside it looked beautiful. It is only a 5 minute walk from the Dutch square so easily accessible.

The church wasn't open when we went on Saturday morning to see it, but it looks nice enough on the outside. It doesn't seem much different from other churches, but it adds nicely to the low skyline of Malacca, and makes the whole scene by the square all the more colorful.

Went there for Sunday mass. Timed at 10.45am, can't find the info on any website but managed to get the right timing from concierge. Very old church and very hot.
