Traditional and well-maintained Catholic church. Also has statues of Mother Mary and Lady of Fatima. Was lucky to be able to meet the parish priest of the church who's a very friendly, welcoming and nice person. He blessed my children's crucifixes and our rosaries. A very kind and warm pastor. Will come again if I come by Malacca.

The church is part of Melaka's heritage and is really beautiful. The masses are amazing from a very faithful and spiritual priest. The congregation here is really nice and welcoming as well. I have included a picture here of the real church, the old looking church in the profile is incorrect and is of St. Paul's Church.

The church has stood the ravages of time and still stands firm. It offers the best view of the city of Melaka and the straits. There is a statue of Saint Francis Xavier and also an empty grave which housed his body temporarily on his death before it was moved to Goa, India Many steps to climb to get to... More

This is must in Melaka. Great history and views of the straits of Melaka. Central location and museums all around this area. It is really the heart of the old port city.

If you're a photographer or you like taking pictures, the this is the right place! Will have to go up the stairs to reach the church.

St Peters Church is a 5 minute walk from Red Square. An intersting ruin on a hill overlooking the town.

Being the oldest functioning Catholic Church in the country is a wonderful accolade, but this is the only fact that has gained notoriety and tourism over the years. Just like other sites in Melaka, the church has history of Portuguese and Dutch occupation from the beginnings, but now seems more of a memory than the future. During our brief visit... More
