Lynn inside Bienville Books was a helpful and gracious ambassador for the town, complete with restaurant recommendations, walk-about directions, local color. Bookstore was well stocked, and great to browse. Employees (or owners?) have their books noted in the window for sale! Friendly and welcoming - a superb introduction to Mobile! My thanks!

Wonderful local bookstore near Bienville Square downtown Mobile. Quaint and cozy, a welcome alternative to giant bookstores. Great selection. . Several coffee shops nearby

Definitely worth the stop. Two floors of books and friendly/knowledgable staff that help guide you through all of it. Found a Stephen King hard puns book for 4 dollars - others were overpriced by a long shot, but it would still have been worth it for the experience! Highly recommend it.

Very good selection of local books, although some are quite pricy. Nice lady at the desk, quite willing to talk when not busy.

This is a wonderful place to browse. Many books are from local authors and feature expose's and information about the many cultural influences of the region. This independent bookstore also has numerous old books, rare finds and wonderfully informative staff. It has at least two levels of nothing but book. Oh my Goodness!!! I just did not have enough time... More

Loved the smell of old books and getting to climb upstairs. Watch your head signs everywhere but we knocked our noggins anyway...despite the warnings! Love the staircase of book seams and that the owner was going to pop lures for pokemon. Wonderful time in a quiant shop...perfect opportunity to cool off on a hot day! Don't miss this place on... This little bookstore offers so much in a small space. We went there for a book signing and fell in love with the staff as well as their selection of regional books. This is a gem for anyone wishing to spend an afternoon lost in books.
