Just a short walk from the Rosa Parks Museum and Library you can see this marker on the street. It's just hard to imagine what actually happened right on this very spot all those years ago.

The Rosa Parks Arrest Site is essentially a marker where the arrest event took place, but there is nothing to see. The marker has a plaque on it to commemorate the event. The Rosa Parks Museum just up the road, however, is an excellent museum.

Visited the Rosa Parks museum and this is an extension of the history of this wonderful city. To actually stand where such important history took place is phenomenal!

Blessed to have experienced this with our children. Very humbling to read about and see pictures and places of those who faced the struggles and paved the way for us.

What an experience to be standing in the footsteps of Rosa Parks. There is signage for visitors to read and mark the significance of the location. Next, be sure to visit the Rosa Parks Museum!

There is not much time involved but a visit there completes the entire Rosa Parks experience. It puts things in perspective as to location and distances!
