If you have an interest in history, then you would find this fascinating learning about the town's past. If you're looking for an event and excitement, don't bother

Great views of the river. Nice bar at the top of the hill (in season). Seems like great grassy seating during musical events (we were there during the day - - no performance in the amphitheater). We have visited multiple times while passing through town and love the setting.

Unless you are a runner or simply like to walk along the river, there isn't much happening here without a planned event. Not so easily accessible and no stores or restaurants along the river walk area.

Walk down the brick tunnel, and the river is right there. The view from the riverwalk is lovely and green, with lush grass. The gigantic structures were once part of the city's industrial past and the view is lovely. Walk along the walkways.

Visited here whilst exploring Montgomery. Enjoyed walking and reading about the heritage of the site. There is a cafe/bar onsite which was closed due to off season I presume but would have been pleasant to sit and relax when open.

Talk about utterly boring. Next time you think about coming to Montgomery, take off your shoe and hit your big tie with a hammer to remind you to never go back. On a serious note, I would rather watch wallpaper paste dry.

This is a small area fronting the Alabama River. There is a concert shell for performances and the park is next to the historic Union Train Station. Several storyboards tell the story of Montgomery from the 1500s to the present. There is a tunnel that takes you under the railroad tracks to the waterfront. It is a very peaceful, serene... More

This is the place my grandson and I take a quick run at the river. He loves to see the water, to run as fast as he can on the hills and sand traps, the stairs and if we are lucky he gets to see the trains. Love this place.
