This Alabama Dolphin Tour is brought to you by Dolphins Down Under in Orange Beach, Alabama. These new custom vessels are of the most stable of boats, and our knowledgeable Captains and crew will guide you and your family on an exciting, informative and educational quest in the smooth pristine waters of the back bays to watch dolphin frolic and play in their natural environment. Minutes away from Gulf Shores, Alabama! Each vessel is equipped with four large glass panels(2.5' x 6.5' each - 65 square ft total) so that you have a chance to view the dolphins if they play and swim beneath the keels of the boats. You will also have the chance to see Osprey Fish Eagles, the Great Blue Heron, and many other wetland creatures and birds in our bay area. The tours last about 1½ hours, and there are marine restroom facilities available, as well as a snack bar and fitted life vests for children and infants. We guarantee that we'll see dolphins on our trips, and when we get the rare chance to see them under the boat, its a real treat!

I was very disappointed in the "glass bottom name " it wasn't glass minus a few places that where blocked off and even there you where told it was to dirty to see through. Kind of... read more

There are not usually any dolphins tours until March, but this company took advantage of the unseasonably warm February weather to offer this cruise. The marina is very nice, the boat was full, but we were comfortable. Only the little ones had to wear life vests. We had a very nice boat ride looking for dolphins (they were scarce), and... More

Loved seeing the dolphins. Great staff. It was a really fun boat ride and trip. They definitely knew what they were doing.

We went on this one bc it was the only one open and it was great. The glass bottom isn't what ppl think it is but my husband works for a glass co. so I knew what to expect. (You can't keep the glass clean in ocean water if you're going out all day long, doesn't work that way) if... More

I was very disappointed in the "glass bottom name " it wasn't glass minus a few places that where blocked off and even there you where told it was to dirty to see through. Kind of the only reason we chose them. However he did great on finding the dolphins and making them jump.

This was pretty good. You start in Mobile Bay. There are some dolphins there. Then you head out to the Gulf and run parallel to the beach. I think the captain had underwater sonar or something. We didn't see buy a few dolphins because the water was kinda choppy, so apparently dolphins don't come to the surface if it there... More

The main reason we choose this tour was the glass bottom. There are four small corners that are hard to see into. The boat ride was an interesting view of how large the waterfront truly is. We had an incredible sunset. Dolphins were nowhere to be seen. Guess you take a chance with nature. I just feel like"Glass Bottom" is... More

We saw just a couple of dolphins from a distance on our ride. Glass bottom? There were a couple of areas fenced off on the boat that you could look down into, but when I think of glass bottom, I think of an actual glass bottom. Maybe a center strip of glass where we can look down. Not just sectioned... More

We had a great trip with Robert and Drew. They took our group of 26 in stride and showed us some great dolphins even being stuck in the bay due to weather.

The dolphin tour was awful. We saw one or two dolphins and the rest of the tour was more of a leisure boat ride. Don't get get excited about it being a glass bottom boat because the crew will tell you that you can't see anything through the small glass that is on each side of the boat. I think... More

We booked online 6 snorkelers and 1 rider. We only had one person who had done this before so we did not know what to expect. From the time we booked, to the people we talked to on the phone and at the marina this was just an amazing thing to do! We were so happy that Captain Robert and... More

Thanks for posting such a nice review! We really enjoy having our customers experience snorkeling with us in the Gulf of Mexico. It's such a thrill to see the marine life and we never know what kind of neat creatures we'll get to encounter. Dolphins are always a treat! Beth is one of our best Divemasters and has tons of...
