You must go out on the boat and visit the island where Tom Hanks filmed Castaway. It’s beautiful and the snorkeling is good there as well. You can collect shells as you walk the island, it’s just amazing!

Spent the week in Fiji experiencing a range of trips and islands. There was nothing wrong with Castaway island or South sea cruises. It's just not a trip I would recommend to my friends as there are other islands closer that can offer the same...More

Booked the day trip excursion through South Seas Cruises. Was unaware that the large catamaran actually operates as an on/off transport to all outer island resorts for vacationers and locals. The stated 1.5 hr trip from Denarau actually took approx 3 hours from marina to...More

Visited this a number of years ago, great spot, amazing snorkling at that time. Bit confused about some entries, there was nothing on the island, no resort, but here it looks like there is also reviews about a Castaway resort style place, confusing. The deserted...More

Did you go see the surfers and if so may I ask did you also get to swim in the waves at a nearby island and or snorkel after? Which company did you go with and would you recommend them? Thanks!
