Good spot to go if you are in Pacific Harbour, not worth a long drive

It is obvious that Arts Village has once been a really great place to visit, with cultural performances and bars for nightlife. Now all of that is closet and left are a few shops and the nice looking bridges. I wish they would get it all started again.

We visited this location on a shore tour booked from our cruise ship. The whole tour was a disappointment. Stinking hot, rainy day, local bus in clean but poor condition with no air conditioning. The tour guide Ben, was entertaining, but that was the only positive from the trip. When we arrived at the Arts Village, we were greeted by... More

The Arts Village is an architecturally weird, surprising restaurant and shopping center. It's walking distance from the resort and a good spot for food (restaurants have tourist prices), massage, sourvenir shopping, ATM, post office and supermarket. It's a bit run down. For me that added to the charm. I have no idea about the cultural performances or demonstrations, it wasn't... More

The central hub of Pacific Harbour, with shops and facilities for both locals and visitors, as well as cultural shows during the week.

Be prepared that the 45 minute bus ride from the Suva port is not air conditioned and the weather is hot. It is enjoyable to see the countryside and hear the commentary from the guide. The Arts Village is well past its prime. The selection is locally made but limited. Unfortunately, few people on the bus made a purchase. The... More

The Arts Village is in a lovely setting with shady trees and a beautiful water lily filled pond but is looking very dilapidated. Admittedly I visited in the off season and on a very wet day but it does need some TLC. It looks like it needs an injection of capital and a good clean especially the toilets. I would... More

Tried to call them, the number we were given is disconnected (surprise), so we email them, they respond by saying they are to busy to look into it. We ask for a... More

As I was staying nearby I thought a visit was to be had. You can walk to the village from The Pearl but as it was raining I caught a taxi. FJD10 each way. There are several gift shops who are all eager for sales. Prices are comparable with each other . I bought from a dear lady who's shop... More

When i searched "things to do in Fiji or Pacific Harbour" one of the hits was this venue and I continued reading because I am very interested in learning about culture and how it is expressed or celebrated. So I couldn't wait to visit this venue and it was one of many reasons why I rented a villa in Pacific... More

Im not sure why it is called the arts villgae. Only a 10 minute walk from the Pearl Resort it is run down and old looking. In the shopping complex is a supermarket and some nice cafés and basic souvenir shops.
