Walking along the Bund is probably the best sight seeing event in Shanghai. A night stroll is a must.

During the day and particularly the evening, this walk way gets too crowed. We enjoyed walking and people watching in the early morning and really enjoyed the rooftop view from the Penninsula Hotel Bar!

This is just a wall, covered with some beautiful flowers. Nothing more, nothing less. No information is ever given on the origin of the wall, nor its purpose, which is a shame. Still, it's easy on the eye while at the Bund.

Very pretty long wall full of flowers in small vases hanging off it. Very unusual and great idea. Situated towards the left side of the Bund as you face the Huangpu River.
