Had to take the train to go to Beijing from this station and I was surprised at how organized it was. Is big and it has a lot of stores in case you need to wait for a long period of time for your train....More

Good train from Beijing to Shanghai over than 1000 km in 4.55hours exactly. Spacious place in First class coach. Many things to buy. Nice Canteen in Cabin 9. Very co operative and beautiful hostess. Seems like airport. No compare with other Asian countries railway station....More

It's very easy. Take your print-out or your app on your phone to the ticket office. We did ours here in Australia 3 weeks before, and had no trouble getting the tickets for all 3 trips, and only one left from Hongqiao.
