Don't miss this if you are in Mobile. The house tour is well worth it as you learn about the generosity of the family as they shared their blessings with others. The setting is phenomenal by the Fork river. The gardens are exceptional. If you can't find something you like here you won't anywhere.

I grew up in Pensacola FL, and this was my first time visiting Bellingrath Gardens. One might question 'why have I waited so long' -- and I have no good answer. My wife and I were so very impressed with what we experienced that we will now plan to visit time and again over the coming years. With various flowers... More

A trip to Bellingrath Gardens in Theodore Al. should be on every vacationer’s to-do list. This is the second time we visited the gardens, the last back in 2012. Springtime is the best time to visit as the flowers are in fresh bloom and the temperatures are comfortable. The gardens are beautifully laid out and reflect on the way the... More

We did the Grounds Tour and were entranced by the various collection of flowers. The Rose Garden was beautiful! The hothouse was so interesting! You can also tour the home which is a treasure!

First of all, I have to say how well signposted it was to get to the gardens (we were travelling in from Mobile). The entry fee was $21 each and this included access to the gardens and a guided tour of the house, which run on the hour and take approximately half an hour. Our tour guide was a lovely... More

Toured both the gardens and home situated on the Fowl River. Such a beautiful location. Home and gardens are well maintained. The garden paths were easily walkable, many water features throughout. It was explained that the location was fishing camp, that the gardens were built first and the house was planned after. The home was beautiful, interesting to see the... More

Such a lovely setting. Nice blend of formal gardens and natural landscaping with beautiful views. I wish plant variety had been marked. It would have been nice to note all the varieties.
