Great place

Loved the pictures, history, exhibits ... plus they have a studio you can make recording... Alabama's tour bus there.

we were passing through and decided to stop. What a great history of Alabama musicians and even famous musicians that came to Alabama to record their music.

We were looking for a rainy day activity, fairly close to home; really enjoyed our visit to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. We didn't realize how many singers are from Alabama and enjoyed seeing all the outfits they wore, the sheets of song writing, gold records! I was so surprised to see the first tour bus from the group... More

Although I live in the Shoals area, a visit to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame is always interesting to me. There have been so many talented people who have given a gift to the world in the form of either writing, singing or being part of a band from Alabama. The bus for the group, Alabama from Fort Payne... More

Having been to the Texas Music Hall of Fame and also seen the music history documentary Muscle Shoals, we decided to check out this museum. Price is $10pp with discounts for seniors and students. This museum showcases many musicians from Alabama or those who recorded here. I was surprised at all the musicians that came from this area! The displays... More

There's a lot of good information, but it was randomly arranged. It's also hard for visitors to absorb what's presented, and many of the signs are difficult to read. (Happy Goodmans, for example.) This is okay as a side trip, but isn't a destination.

Want to go back in time and remember the songs and the singers? This is the place for you. Lots to look at and listen to. Learn who wrote the songs. Was surprised to find an old Alabama tour bus inside which you can check out. Happy we went.

This place is great to visit alone, take a date or the whole family. I would recommend if you visit Northwest Alabama make this... More

Although not large, the Hall of Fame was full of stories of the great musicians that connect to Alabama. The exhibits had excellent photos, mementos and interesting texts. As you wind your way through the museum, different music plays enhancing your visit. The area devoted to the music made in Muscle Shoals was especially informative.
