We took the PM rafting tour. It was rainy day - so it was disappointing tour. Yes - the team are very nice and friendly and the tour can be great - but with this weather - we didn't saw almost any animal or attraction along the river. It can be great tour when weather permit

Our guides were fun and the trip was more than we imagined. Steven, Bernie and Antonio our driver were the guys taking care of us particularly. On our half-day raft trip we saw: several howling howler monkeys (easily provoked), a few crocodiles, one toucan, a snake, little and great blue herons, one sloth that I really didn't see.. various swifts... We did the "regular" Cano Negro tour with Canoa Adventura and we were very happy about spending our limited time with them. We saw tons of animals and birds and learned an incredible amount about Costa Rica.

This was one of the best experiences on our trip. Our guide, Max, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The river was beautiful - lots of creatures. But the BEST part was the stop at Don Pedro's farm where were very graciously received and offered coffee, home made cheese etc. And we can't forget the iguanas Max showed us! Driver was... More

Excellent tour - collected from hotel. Pace good for over-65. The only complaint was that there was little leg room in the rear of the transport - particularly difficult if you are an older traveller. The guides were most knowledgeable on the wildlife and went to a great deal of trouble to explain the flora and fauna.

A family friendly paddle on the Rio Penas Blancas. Full of monkeys, colorful birds, beautiful foliage, varied amphibians, and gorgeous butterflies. The guides take good care to offer information that keep all ages engaged and interested. Safe and scenic!! Pura Vida!!

Absolutely brilliant tour! Our driver, Lopez, was very helpful and friendly. We went kayaking with Mario and we were so impressed with him. We went on the safari rafting tour with Canoa Aventura. The guide and driver picked us up at our hotel and brought us (plus another couple) to the river. They provided bottled water and life jackets. Our guide, Steven, was perfectly bilingual and very knowledgeable. He also commandeered the raft very well. He spotted animals we NEVER would have seen,... More

We had the best guide, Jorge, that made this trip a one of a kind experience! He spotted many exciting animals on our tour-monkeys with their babies, crocs, bats, birds, etc. He seemed very knowledgeable and personable. Everyone was very helpful and kind. We all highly recommend this tour!

We booked the all day tour, 7:30am-10pm. At first we thought this might be a lot and a little spendy. However, I have to tell you it was one of my favorite days of our trip. Jorge our guide was the #1 best guide anyone could ask for. By the end of the day I felt a friendship with our... More
