The thermal pools were lovely and (happily) not too crowded when we went to the twilight visit. We were happy to move from pool to pool, which to the novice were just divine. A couple of pools had seating / lounges in which we were able to tune out the world. after a couple of hours, we grabbed the dinner... More

After a long travel day to get to our destination, we decided to visit Ecotermales. What a beautiful place! 7 different pools of hot water to soak our tired and achy bones. There are also two pools of cool water. We got there early in the day so there were not a lot of people there and we basically had... More

This place is beautiful but way too expensive. The locker area and the pools themselves are great. They also have a pool. Overall nice place but I'm not sure it was worth that much money. The Tabacon free hot springs are just down the road and you basically have the same experience.. Bring some drinks and there you go :)

It was hot the day we went - so I guess I didn't think about how sitting in 100+ degree water wouldn't be that appealing given the heat outside. Overall, this is a beautiful place - the grounds were well maintained. The pools were nice - although I'm not sure the varying temperatures of the waters were significant enough to... More

Had a brilliant time at the Eco Termales hot springs. A few hours at these hot springs is lovely way to rest after a day exploring.

What a wonderful experience we had. The variety of pools was fabulous and the surroundings were so peaceful. We loved the waterfall in the top pool - it was like a massage therapist. We did have the buffet for dinner - not sure I would recommend it. Even my husband, who was a bit skeptical, came out raving about the... More

This place was amazing. I arrived fairly tired and stiff from many hours of driving through the country, so I was ready to relax. We were immediately transported to paradise. The hot springs' temperatures ranged from warm to very hot, and what I really loved were the little waterfall areas you could climb around in. There was one very cold... More

Relaxing, good for the skin and a really nice experience. Some walking so if you have difficulty bring a walking pole. Nice buffet meal afterwards with friendly staff. Recommend

The Ecotermales Hot Springs was part of an all-day La Fortuna tour, and was a welcome treat at the end of the day! The property is beautiful, getting us in the mood for a relaxing time in the hot springs. The check-in, towel & locker process was well organized with very helpful staff. The hot springs were varied in style... More
