Nice way to visit locals and swim

I like this tour because we went in a small village and saw how the locals live, their houses, school, etc. However, we were driving on the street, sometimes on asphalt but mainly... read more

I am usually Pollyanna and try to see the good in everything. We love Costa Rica and have been three times and it has been the best!! Wow - what an ultimate disappointment this tour was!! We had been four wheeling on a previous visit and it was the best part of the trip. This trip, with Fourtrax was absolutely... More

I like this tour because we went in a small village and saw how the locals live, their houses, school, etc. However, we were driving on the street, sometimes on asphalt but mainly on a dirt road. I expected to get dirty, so it was fine. Driving the quad was easy. We swim at a nice place. We also stopped... More

While staying in La Fortuna, I took this tour and thought it was good. Then I went to Tamarindo, paid the same money and had the best, most interesting ATV adventure ever. There are not a lot if sites here. the guide did not stop and explain any flaura or fauna or history. This "trek" was basically a couple of... More

Despite the description saying you can swim, we were not allowed. The ATV ride is fun and the waterfall was beautiful but I was pretty annoyed that I wore my swimsuit beneath my pants and then had no opportunity to use them. Also, the meal provided afterwards does not have a vegetarian option.

The ATV tour we went on was amazing! We did so much from crossing a river to the jungle rope with amazing scenery all around.

There were 4 of us in our party and another couple in our group. We paid $85 for single and $99 for my husband and I to ride together. Our guide was Hugo and since all of the drivers in our group are experienced we asked for a little more adventure and Hugo took us on a little back trail... More

With all the countryside out there, where are the quad trails....gravel roads and asphalt are no fun.......Guide was good and food was fabulous but no thrills that for sure

We weren't planning on doing this activity, but we decided to do it at the last minute and it was enjoyable. Nothing on the ride was particularly scary or difficult. We stopped at a few places to take in the view or learn a little bit about the land. We also stopped at a local restaurant for a snack.

We had a private tour that took us to the La Fortuna Waterfall then into the back country around the volcano. The guide stopped at all the best spots to get pictures. Dinner was included in the cost of the ATV rental which was unexpected but very nice.

I had so much fun on this tour! Keep in mind that riding around on an ATV is DANGEROUS! I had great fun but I"m giving it 3 starts because my friend literally flipped hers within the first 20 minutes and went back to the hotel. Ultimately, her whole left side was battered and bruised, but she wants no part... More
