It was cold and rainy but it just made the experience better - the warm water made us very comfortable and relaxed. You can experience many waterfalls, but make sure to watch your step and look out for loose rocks. The restaurant has the best service and food we experienced in CR. Make sure to save room for the deserts... More

We were on a tight budget with 4 of us and really wanted to try the hot springs. We took a tip from one of the guide books. Instead of paying for the expensive hotel and crowds, we went with the locals on the other side of the bridge from the hotel. Beautiful river, really warm to hot water, rushing... More

I already reviewed the hotel and did say I enjoyed my experience as both venues. As a hotel guest we received free towel and locker rentals at the hot springs. We visited two times during our stay. Both times we relaxed in the springs and enjoyed the swim up bar/pool area as well. Visiting in the afternoon was nice because... More

The Tabacon hot springs is a series of hot water pools with varying temperatures. There are also water park style slides and pools for the kids to swim in. My wife, two youngest daughters and I had a wonderful time; however, this theme park is rather expensive.

Relaxing evening to spend in a natural jacuzzi. Water is warm bordering on hot, clear, clean and refreshing without any odor of sulfur

We came here after three hours of driving and three hours of hiking, so it was heaven sent when we got into the hot springs. All the pools are well maintained and staff were amazing as well. The pool slide was the best part of this facility. The only downside may be its price. $85 Daypass for dinner and hotsprings... More

This is the only place I've been where the place actually looks EXACTLY like the pictures!!! It was wonderful. The hot springs are quite warm, but there are a few areas where cool water is set aside for a break. The waterfalls are picturesque and have a nice amount of pressure. If you are looking for a quiet area away... More

It was awesome to go to the Hot Springs against a Volcano. They had a variety of tubs along with a mud bath section as well. I highly recommend it.

this is a must visit. you can go for the day or night or part of an excursion, or you can actually stay there. I think one day or after an excursion is perfect. Naturally hot springs from volcano but they turn them into waterfall pools. there are a ton of them. you can drink in there or by the... More
