This is so beautiful. Has 18 pools and each pool is hotter then the next. There is also 3 extremely fast water slide suitable for older children!

Largest hot springs in the world. Gorgeous place with many different pools and even water slides. If you go make sure you bring your own towels that way you can avoid renting one. Also make sure you check out the natural sauna which is very cool. Cocktails are $10 and beers are $5 which isn't bad considering where you are... More

These springs are great! Easy to park, with guarded lots. The property, changing rooms, pools, etc. are all very clean. It is built on a hill so at the top is the hottest pool - and it is HOT! Temp of the pools drop as you work your way down. We did the spring entry and lunch/dinner buffet for about... More

We came here after a day of hiking and quad biking so were really looking forward to the experience. We arrived in the evening after 7.30pm as we were advised that it gets too busy in the late afternoon / early evening. On arrival we were advised that we could use the pools until 10pm so we had dinner in... More

I don't get the whole Hot Springs deal . Bought the $30 day entrance fee and was pretty bored . Better things to do in LaFortuna

We spend half a day there and wish we could have stayed longer. $35 all day from 9am to 10pm. Property is gorgeous. Goes from hot to cold pools, no people (February 22, morning), spotless. We toured Tobacan and Ecospa (across the street) and Baldi looked so much better than either of those.

Trust me when I say this place is worth every penny. The place is gigantic, and even Oprah agrees - it's the best around. Here's the deal - Before you go - know this: DISCOUNT - Get a voucher from your motel to get a discount, and be sure to include the buffet. Your tour guide or motel get points... More

Expensive and not a geothermal spa experience I could call genuine. Could have been in Orlando or Phoenix at a water park and couldn't tell the difference really. The water had no minerals or smell of sulphur as is the norm at springs I've visited in Costa Rica. Beer and cocktails were super expensive The bus loads of tourists were... More

Went after hiking Arenal volcanoe and what a great way to end the day. Spent a wonderful 4 hours there! Very relaxing in all the different pools. Only negative would be the pricey drinks.
