This is a beautiful valley to spend some time. Orosi town itself is a cute little town with a nice small church/museum to visit.

We arrived to this mirador recommended by someone at the basilica Los Angeles. We went out of curiosity and we were astonished. This is on of the most amazing views in Costa Rica. All locals go there for picnics and cook in stone barbecues. All...More

A truly beautiful valley that's almost hidden. A real change of pace and scenery after staying in the cloud forests and the Pacific coast.

Get out of the city and spend a day driving the loop around the Orosi valley. Great little restaurants, especially the one overlooking the football plaza in Orosi. Lots to do here - sightseeing, the Mirador, the green suspension bridge, Tapanti National Park, the balnearios...More

I have visited the Orosi Valley a few times. It is one of my girlfriend's favorite places in Costa Rica. Rightly so! The river valley is beautiful, the mountains are awesome. The small towns and villages are friendly and welcoming.

What does pricing look like if I want to do the hike without a tour guide? Is there an entrance fee?

-The valley itself doesn´t have a fee entrance and you can go without a tourguide. Just if you go to Tapantí National park you would have to pay for entrance but its not expensive. It´s a park in the valley. Regards,

Would you share the name of the restaurant or hotel where you took the pictures looking down to the Valley. I am looking for a place to eat during our one day trip and the scenes in your albums are gorgeous. Thanks
