I appreciate how supportive they were & how comparative they were in helping us swim to shore & supported us with all the resources needed to have a great time for the boat ride. They were also interactive with group games & very engaging. As long as you follow their simple safety instructions there will be absolutely no problems going and coming back. We have a group of 16 and everyone equally had a good time. Food was included as well as a bartender. I would highly recommend Anthony, Oscar & Jose. I wouldn’t go on another ride without them

Let’s just say it was all fun and games until a can accidentally slipped into the water and the crew member “joked” in the most serious of tones that he was going to come and kill my partner. TRUST ME when I say — he didn’t sound like he was joking. Then after slowly asking her if she was ok asking her if “she was a lesbian?” Then letting her know that “that wasn’t a good thing”… For those reasons alone I am going to say this was absolute trash, if you want handsy male crew members who will only get you whatever you want because you’re available then by all means please go.

We were so looking forward to a fun catamaran ride as we know that the vibe is usually so upbeat and fun however this tour was anything but. From the minute we entered the dingy to go to the dreamcatcher; no introductions were made. When we got on the boat it was the first time we heard from our guide Jose who started with "He guys" Poor service, lunch was late, and jose and the captain Oscar were on their phones the majority of the time. We were not able to snorkel due to the weather however that wasn't their fault. Their poor attitude and lack of trying to connect with the guest resulted in a very poor experience.

We should have seen the red flags prior to even boarding. I have been all throughout the Caribbean and Mexico on catamaran excursions. It's usually one of my favorite days on vacation. This by far marks the worst excursion experience I've ever had. We were told to look for a blue flag out front of the El Chiringuito restaurant as a meeting point to check in - no blue flag in sight. I walked up to another tour company and asked if this was Dream Chasers, the guide literally laughed and said no no no and pointed to where Dream Chasers would meet us. Few minutes later a woman shows up to check us in and is unaware my group of 3 is even booked. Luckily (more like unluckily come to find out later) we had our confirmation and she allowed us to participate. Upon waiting for the others to show up Jose (I believe was his name - young with very curly long hair) informed us of a fight the day before on the boat. He was saying how the aggressor of the fight was drinking straight from the rum bottle (gross) and then later on an alcohol induced fight broke out. A NY girl broke her nose and everything trying to break up this fight. After his story it's time to board the boat in their "dinghy". No life jackets, no instructions, no safety talk. We get on the boat and we are not even underway for 10 minutes before the "Captain" starts drinking alcohol. It takes us over an hour to get to  Playa Huevo, upon getting there the water has huge 4 to 5 foot swells (sometimes higher). This is obviously not a bay or a good spot to be anchored expecting people to swim a mile to the shore or snorkel around huge rocks. Multiple other cats pulled in and quickly left, some didn't even disembark. We were still given no life jackets in these extreme conditions, only a pool noodle. A family had to ask multiple times for life jackets for their young children and the one crew member said that the life jackets are only for kids, no adults. I am very experienced with SUP and there was no way a beginner/intermediate could paddleboard in  those conditions, even sitting down. Also, the water was dark and dirty so no one was snorkeling. The boat is so small that it isn't very stable, it was rocking so much compared to the other cats we saw. I get motion sick so I floated in the water just to get off the boat. When I was looking back at the passengers on board I could see that no one (except the very drunk crew) was having fun. This one lady was so drunk she was sitting on the back of the boat where the ladder is to get on and off, she could have easily fallen in and drown as she was blacked out drunk and not wearing a life jacket and the crew were in no condition to help if an accident were to occur. My group got back on the boat and I immediately got sea sick while being anchored still. A nice family on board said this is the worst catamaran tour they had ever been on. So we all asked to leave early rather than sitting in the extreme chop (at only one location mind you) for an hour and a half. We get underway and multiple people were getting sea sick. I was laying my head down & curled up at this point with my eyes closed just trying to sleep my way through Hell and overcome my motion sickness when Jose comes up and sits down next to me, snakes his hand under my chin and is rubbing it, I pull away and he keeps doing it and then grabs my breast. I scoot myself further down the seat on the front of the boat and then he lays his hand on my shoulder, I feel so sick I don't want to move because I would vomit again but when I do sit up he is nodding out, sleeping sitting up next to me! My belief is that he thought I was drunk (since they over serve people) but I hadn't drank alcohol at all. I deeply am concerned that the crew either drugs or at the very minimum over serves "vulnerable" young women. Jose finally woke up and then went back with the rest of the drunk crew members while the family on the boat were still in as much disbelief as I was. We got back to Tamarindo a half hour early which wasn't early enough. The extremely drunk woman fell multiple times, including into the dinghy on the way back to shore. I am an avid boater and have never been so happy to make it back to shore. My biggest concerns with this boat is #1 safety; with the crew being extremely drunk and unfit to help the passengers and not offering life jackets or showing us if there even were any; #2 the crew over serving people and being creepy predators towards single women; #3 it's way too long of a boat ride, 3 hours would be plenty and #4 go to a calmer bay where people can actually enjoy themselves in the water or at least anchor somewhere that the beach is more accessible. Maybe even have a few stops. This was the only catamaran excursion where we went to 1 place and just stayed there the whole time and it's just too far away. I wish so badly we picked a different catamaran excursion, one with a bigger boat and professional crew. The only dream I chased on this boat was getting off of it as soon as possible! Don't make the same mistake we did.
