Our guide here was great. She was very informative about each animal they were rehabilitating. We were able to see an ocelot, spider monkey, monkeys from Brasil, and american crocodile, and many other animals. A great experience and for a good cause.

This was not exactly what I was expecting. As a sanctuary for rescued animals, I expected more natural habitat - like enclosures, more of a kind of half way house between a zoo and the wild. I'm not sure why that was my expectation, but...More

As mentioned in the title, this is not a zoo but a rehabilitation center for local animals. Our favorite was the ocelot, and of course the monkeys. The $15 entrance fee does seem steep, however keep in mind it's a donation for the animals and...More

Very sweet place! Our tour guide was Jocelyn (sp?) and she was great and very knowledgeable. It was very hot and humid though! Take water with you.

No, no sloths there unless you are lucky to spot one in the trees while you are visiting. Thsi is not a zoo - at all.
