An interesting, restful and relaxing place, indeed! Nature is omnipresent and the explanation concerning water and the botanical exlanations are as interesting as the farming and housing items. I went there with a group from my language school (group leader was the instructor doing the cooking classes at our school, Intercultura in Heredia). Walking thorough this small park was so interesting. Many native flowers and herbs that you would typically see in a garden, restored home including furniture and well furnished kitchen as well. old adobe structures show how our ancestors lived, and you can see an array of different everyday artifacts they used in their households. The old clay oven is burning most times, in January they hold the Rezo del Nino which is a very appreciated tradition among Catholic Costa Ricans.

it´s lovely, small, tucked away, super typical costa rica rustic rural style farm house with a small museum, it´s beautiful up there and you can go see Barva the town too, beautiful church and square
