This is a beautiful trail walk with endless wildlife and flora to see. This little yellow snake overhead as you come in is adorable, and they have a lizard that looks like some sort of dinosaur.

The park is kept really clean and is very easy to walk - no hilly bits. The park is also full of sloths (today anyway). 15 adults 5 of which were nursing babies. We hired a guide near our cabinas at Playa Negro but guides...More

Our first visit, we did on our own without a guide. The path is sandy and easy to walk on. The path from Cahuita town is about 2 km. If you want to go further you need to cross a small river. There is also...More

Must go early morning to be sure to see Wilde. Without a guide we would have missed a lot of animals. We enjoyed the beach and sun before going back to Cahuita... perfect day

Cahuita National Park is a great spot to go for a walk, take a swim, and spot some wildlife. There's a fair amount of birds, sloths, insects and frogs. There are showers, bathrooms and changing booths near the entrance. The park operates on donations, so...More

From 8 am to 4 pm. Furthermore, there is a gate half way, which close at 2 pm. If you pass it after that time, you can’t go back and you have to finish all the tour till the end.

If you choose a spot where you have to buy to park (next to the entrance you have to buy) I think’it’s safe to leave your luggage anddo it on your own, you don’t nead any guide

It's a really easy trail. How far you get is all dependent on how long you can carry her.
