Saw monkeys, birds, and many other creatures. Packed a lunch and we hiked, found a cozy spot for a picnic. Then enjoyed a swim in the ocean.

Stunning beaches, beautiful tracks, loads of wildlife - you won't be disappointed. Worth bringing food with you so you can take your time, you don't want to rush. Whole track is 9km and it changes all the ay through, so worth doing the whole thing!

We did the full 16km walk and really enjoyed it. We saw many animals and birds and although it was a long walk it's mostly in the shade and all flat.

Fabulous fresh seafood with a great view overlooking the water! The fresh Lobster and Red Snapper were delicious and beautifully prepared. We will definitely go back!

Amazing experience, we totally recommend this park. No entrance fee but you can see here more animals than in other forests in Monteverde that will cost you 20$. Plus you can swim in beautiful warm water of Caribbean sea.

It's a really easy trail. How far you get is all dependent on how long you can carry her.

All the way along the trail you can access the beach, so it is easy to take a break if you get tired. There are shelters at intervals along the first part of the trail so you can sit in shade if you wish.

Get on the mepa bus from PL to Cahuita. Very easy 10 minute walk from bus mall to the entrance of the park, where local vendors sell fresh coconut with potassium rich juice. There are usually some sloths that live in the... More
