A really beautiful place! Call ahead of time and the land managers will get a boat to pick you up where the caretaker meets you. We hiked through stunning jungle for about 25 minutes before reaching what can only be described as the most incredible view of the Golfo Dulce. Definitely do a boat tour on the Gulf if you have time BTW, we just went with Golfito Outfitters and it was the best day of our whole trip! During our hike we saw 2 monkey types and lots of birds. There were bathrooms for us to use and water from the source to refill our bottles. We got very sweaty since it was so humid, so remember your water bottle.Roberto the caretaker was so lovely, we shared our packed lunch with him which we took up and he gave us some mamones fruits from the garden in exchange!

We stayed at Zamia so that we could do community service with the Osa Turtle Project. It was wonderful to come back to such a tranquil and beautiful home after a day at community service. Roberto who is onsite really looks after you.
The views are to die for too.
