We were at Manuel Antonio last week and had a great morning tour with Edgar. He picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the park entrance. We were a family of four with two young children and he was so patient and kind with us. The hike is not a long distance (maybe 1 mile or so),... More

This hike is more of a nature walk - about 3 miles through the park. Edgar took his time to show us every possible sign of wildlife he could, it was a great tour! He provided us with lot of information and took time to make sure we got great pictures of all the wildlife - which included lizards, baby... More

Highly recommend!! We went out in kayaks just the 2 of us and Juan. Saw the wonderful jungle, a sloth, Jesus Lizard, iguana, lizard that crawled into the kayak, birds, and Tons of monkeys!! We had monkeys climb on our shoulders and even onto our lap! It was a once in a lifetime experience!!

We used Aguila Tours on two separate occasions: for a guided tour through Manuel Antonio National Park and for a boat tour through the Damas Island estuary and mangroves. While you can visit Manuel Antonio without a tour guide, if you want to see wildlife, we highly recommend going with guides. There is no way we would have been able... More

I found this service to be wonderful. Our guide was Jason who was sent to us by Juan. Jason was very knowledgeable, had excellent English, and eagle eyes. We would never have seen the lovely creatures we did without his pointing them out. There were quite a few other people on the trail during our afternoon tour. It is the... More

Going to Manuel Antonio National Park without a guide is like walking blindfolded through a museum. Our guide, Edgar, was super human. He spotted insects, birds, bats, reptiles, crabs, frogs and monkeys. He set up his telescope and allowed us to get great pictures that way. He took his time too. All the other guides were zipping past us and... More

Aguila Tours is a good company with well educated tour guides who love what they do. Our guide Juan has a BA in Zoology I believe, and answered any and all questions we had in full detail with out droning on and putting us to sleep. We went to Manual Antonio National Park and let Juan know the species we... More

Be aware off this tour-compagny when you get to Manuel Antonio National Park. They stops you before you reaches the beach and entrance of the park, and tells you that you can't go no longer - it is just not the trough. You can drive much longer and then you get to the main entrance to the park, where the... More

This company was recommended by Nikki at Pura Vida eh?. We did the morning MA National Park tour and afternoon mangrove boat tour which included lunch. In the morning we had Pablo and in the afternoon we had Juan. We enjoyed both immensely. Both were great a spotting things we would not have seen. Pablo shared a bit of his... More

Juan was very accomadating for a last minute tour of Manuel Antionio park. He was extremely knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. Although you probably could do the park yourself and see the main attractions by loitering around other guides, I highly recommend spend a few dollarsand hiring Juan. You wont regret it. He showed us all three monkeys, sloths with... More
