the beach was great, water was green, can see small islands on the distance, good beach, but beware of the racoons, they are vaccinated according to park's people and they have collars, but they suddenly come out of nowhere and go straight to your backpack , they did that over and over again. you would chase them and they would... This beach was one of the most beautiful beaches...no garbage and no vendors. Very beautiful. Plan to guard your belonging from raccoons and monkeys!

This is a great beach, the jungle as a background, great water temp. The only regret was that you would have to hike in any amenities beyond a towel and other sundries as you can't drive to it. We were there in November and the whole area was overcast almost the entire time, so no sunbathing or typical beach weather,... More

This beach is simply gorgeous. The water is clear and the sand is comfortable. It is somewhat of a "hike" to get to the beach, but it is worth it! We kept our gear on picnic tables in the shade, and our tour guide stayed to guard it -from the monkeys and raccoons! This is a necessity - as they... More

This beach extends for a mile and a half. We walked the length of it, even during a rain shower with our umbrellas up. The surfers were not deterred, nor were the locals selling fruit, drinks, jewelry, etc. Very peaceful escape from the tourist shops across the street.

Beautiful beach ... a bit overrun with crowds during holiday season. It's set in the middle of the park, and quirky with raccoons that are quite adept at thieving/foraging through travelers' backpacks. Overall, quite nice

Beach was very nice. Some decent bars for a drink. Panhandling gets annoying after a while. Awesome natural hermit crabs!

Beautiful park and beaches, we saw so much wildlife! Beware of the monkeys and raccoons by the beaches, they are little thieves! We also saw a boa constrictor when we were there.

Our 13 year old granddaughter had a blast trying to surf with our fantastic family guide Bryan Obregon Fernandez while we relaxed in rental chairs. 2 surf boards, boogie board and 2 chairs for $30. Great walk on the beach after....shopping, food, and parking right across the street
