I haven't been on a horse in YEARS and enjoyed saddling up once again. These horses are so gentle and I found it refreshing that they were rein-trained instead of using mouth bits! Jimmy picked my friend and I up at our hotel and drove us out to the ranch to meet up with the rest of the group. Jimmy... More

On February 15, 2017 I and my group took a tour of the rainforest in two Toyota Land Cruisers with guide Alonso Madrigal and his colleague Jimmy. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable, and very patient in fielding our questions. Dinner afterwards was excellent. Everyone in our group had a wonderful time. I highly recommend these gentlemen.

Wonderful experience horse riding through the Costa Rican rainforest. Exploring trails accessible only on horseback with wonderful views of the river canyon. Knowledgeable guides and kind horses. Suitable for everyone from the experienced to those who have never ridden before. Family run business with wonderful Costa Rican hospitality.

Very well trained horses took us along forest trails where guides pointed out and let us taste wild cinnamon to a cooling pool to swim under a waterfall while butterflies of every hue fluttered by. Complete with breakfast and lunch on the ranch it was impeccable hospitality.

Having never ridden a horse I was a little nervous to get in the saddle. However, after my wife booked this trip I have to say it is one of the best experiences I have had. Jesse was our guide, and he made us feel comfortable while ensuring the adventure and joy of riding. He spoke excellent English, and was... More

A must do! This adventure was very memorable. It started with the owner and our guide picking us up. They were both personable and had a great sense of humor. They provided lunch and breakfast which was unexpected, but great food. The horses were well trained with great manners. Jimmy our guide was amazing, provided facts along the was and... More

This was our second time going on this horseback tour. The first time was 10 years ago and Jimmy was our guide then as well. Jimmy picked us up from our hotel in Manuel Antonio and we had GREAT conversation on the way to the restaurant for breakfast. After breakfast, we received clear instruction on how to ride and control... More

My wife, twin 7 year-old sons and I joined Jimmy (guide) on a 4WD tour. It was a very enjoyable experience with the highlights being breakfast, lunch, Jimmy's wonderful demeanor, two of us tasting termites (yep we did), swimming in two waterfalls, traversing a very long/very tall rope bridge and learning a lot as we drove up the mountain and... From the pick up by the owner to the private ride with Jimmy as outer guide, we loved it. We had a bite before heading off, as the ladies were cooking ..and enjoyed our Casado Upon return. I've been going to Costa Rica for 18 years and by far this was one of the most enjoyable memorable days thanks to... More
