Went to the museum in 1990 on a tour around the world. Took the bus from Papeete to the museum. Well not much to see, very small. Sure explains a bit about his life but I expected to see at least one of his paintings....More

We did this as part of our transfer tour to our hotel. I learned some interesting things here, but it was very hot, no air . circulation happening .It was something to do.

is closed and no definite tome for reopening. long way to drive to get there from papeete. staff at hotel did not say it was closed

As the title says, it's closed for renovation as of our visit in October 2016. There was no information on the door as to when it is scheduled to reopen.
