This is definitely not a must do but rather a can do. If you like zoos or petting zoos in general, go for it. What you pay for is what you get: nice corals and plenty of fish. If you don't like zoos, you'd better stay away. The fish are fed and gather at the lagoon before feeding time. A... More

Sting rays, sharks, colourful fish and the amazing blue colour of the lagoon, all in one! You will get really close to see the sting-rays, they will even come to you asking for food, you can touch them and they seem very friendly! Sharks don't get close as they are scared, but you can see them very well, they are... More

This was my first snorkelling experience and really enjoyed it. There was hardly anyone there when we went which was nice. Wilfred was really friendly and has such a great set up there. The lagoon sharks and stingrays were unnerving at first, but once you get used to them it's quite an incredible experience! We saw all sorts of different... More

The Lagoonarium provides that truly up close opportunity to coral, many varieties of fish, sting rays and black tipped sharks. This is an amazing spot a short boat ride from the island of Moorea on a private Motu. The snorkeling is very easy along the rope course. The best is the "feeding frenzy" when the many varieties of fish and... More

This was an outstanding excursion. We went with Moorea Mahara tours and Louie was our excellent tour guide. The lunch was simple but very tasty. Enjoyed snorkelling with the stingrays and black tipped sharks. Plenty of colourful fish in the lagoon. The coral isn't much, much destroyed. The raw fish and coconut demo was very good. Thank you Louie for... More

By far not the best place to snorkel on Moorea. Go elsewhere. Don't waste your time making the drive just to snorkel- but a beautiful drive around the island.

We had already had a great stay in Moorea, but decided to do this near the end as the weather was finally improving, a few days after a major storm. It was really our highlight of an already great trip. From a natural standpoint, it was excellent, the snorkeling was the best we had done, and the ropes made us... More

The lagoonarium is a great spot to spend a snorkeling day. Leave early, before 9:30, as if you arrive before the big groups you'll have a nice bungalow (meaning shadow during the hottest hours) just for you! Bring your own snorkeling stuff if you can, and food/water. They have a fridge to keep your food fresh. Try to do the... More
