We stopped here while doing a tour of the island and the view was simply breathtaking! If you have a panorama setting on your camera make sure to use it while up here.

Beautiful view, plenty of parking, no fee. Lots of tourists visiting. See the historic site while there.

Great views on top of the mountain. Highly recommended!! Beautiful drive into the jungle and fabulous lookouts over Moorea. You can hike or explore further, although we just drove up and down again.

If you get a chance to go to Belvedere Lookout please go!! You will get some beautiful pictures of the island. We did an ATV tour here and it was worth it. You're basically in a volcano.

What an awesome view! Just what you expect and great views of both the bays and Rotui Mountain. Very spectacular scenery. Worth the visit - if you are going on a tour this will probably be included.

Belvedere Lookout, overlooking Cook and Opunohu Bays provides quite stunning scenery of the bays and surrounding area. Interesting fact - it was Opunohu Bay that Captain Cook sailed into however since this bay already had a name the named the neighbouring bay after Cook

In my opinion i would say it's to far to walk. In fact it would be a very expensive taxi ride. I would call them and ask about a shuttle.
