Lovely view of both Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay. It's a tedious drive up the hill so be sure to stop at one of the most beautiful and extensive marae complexes in the islands, Titiroa.

I would recommend the Belvedere Lookout because it is one of the best views you'll find of Cook's Bay and 'Ōpūnohu Bay! You'll sadly need a car, if you're fit enough you could drive you're bike up there though. Walking there would only be beneficial if you take a whole tour of the mountain with a person that knows themselves... More

We rented a car in Moorea. Right away we drove to Belvedere Lookout. It was far away from Albert's Tour place. It was very scary. The road was very narrow. On the last couple of turns, the road was unpaved. Be careful of cars coming from the opposite directions. Yes, the view is worth it. When we arrived, there was... More

From the look out we walked up to the three coconut trees pass. It took us 2.5 hours return. We used this forum to guide us http://www.summitpost.org/three-coconuts-pass-from-belvedere-point/167856 as there were a few places that the path split and no clear markings to tell you which way to go. Great short walk on a reasonably easy track. It was a bit... More

We took the dirt road up to Belvedere in our little Panda which was pretty hard on the car (could have done with w 4 wheel drive), but we made it, and then started out on the walk - was very hot so take lots of water, but the walk meanders through different scenery from flora and fauna similar to... If it's cloudy or the end of the day the view is not as good. Make sure it's clear and midday to maximize viewing the lagoons from the steep cliff ride up!

We got up to the lookout via an ATV and the views were pretty good. We did not have a fully clear day and views looking inland were partially cloudy. However, the views to the bays were crystal clear and beautiful. Its definitely worth visiting and can be reached easily via a paved road.

We walked all the way from the beach to the lookout. It was a long walk and I frankly did not find it that interesting. Culturally it was worth seeing how people live and what it is that makes the island tick. It was a muggy, cloudy day, so that may have influenced my viewpoint.

A gorgeous overlook but the drive to the lookout is even more fun! This is the classic spot for panoramic photographs of Moorea.
