The sights

Not much to see but an interesting story , not easy to find, it's up the back roads, which is interesting in itself , enjoyed seeing the homes and gardens we passed on the drive.

I used to live behind the back road on the path towards Arai Te Tonga. Don't be scared of any barking dogs if you do venture down, they are just excited to go with you :) The white dog is Sugar Ray and the caramel coloured one is called Mito. They'll go with you the whole walk...just make sure when... More

I always like to checkout historic ruins no matter where. We rode our scooter along the Back Road and missed the little sign and after asking a local farmer were directed back. Only a small grouping of stones and a larger platform area, all a bit overgrown. Only a short explanation of the significance of the ruin on a couple... More
