Nice Golf Links

You should do this Golf Links. The views are incredible and there are alot of eagles around. The owner tells you alot about the place and the history of the region. Just amazing.

One of the most unique golf experiences ever. With views of snow covered mountains, bald eagles overhead, river water hazard, and lost ball opportunities galore, it cannot be equalled in any state side setting. However, it is an isolated, ecologically sensitive area that floods at high tides (yes most holes). The brochure said "Galoshes Provided " and I was glad... More

This was hands down the prettiest scenery I can imagine on a golf course. What an experience! It's a 9 holes links course. They can't use pesticides so the the tee areas and greens are astroturf and the course was quite wet and muddy in spots, but it did not matter. Just the opportunity to walk the course on a... More

Augusta National it ain't, but boy is it pretty. Not as tough a course as they try to make it sound, although many fairways can be a bit soggy. Not a true links course either, but close enough. It is all very flat, no hills at tall. No sand traps, but plenty of water to worry about. Eagles everywhere, footprints... More

I've played over 250 courses around the world and this was one of the most fun. Its not the greatest course, the greens are artificial but you are playing golf in Alaska in a magical location - just enjoy it!

Eagles are ever where, maybe even a birdie or two. I haven't seen a course with artificial greens but it's Alaska. Beautiful spot. Enjoy!

Rough fairways, artificial greens and it didn't matter one bit. I have never seen or played on a course as beautiful as this. It is impossible to be upset with a poor stroke with Bald Eagles soaring overhead.360 degrees of incredible views. Played two rounds and would have played more if time would have allowed.

I was glad (and always) I brought my clubs. I didn't think I was going to use them but was pleasantly surprised. Yes, I kept my "waggle" in shape. I believe my ball travels further up here! Look out Tiger!

the number of holes on this course depends on the current tide's frame of mind... and it is, admittedly, a bit rough, a one-man's-dream course, but it was fun just to be here and talk with him

Stan & Kathy have a wonderful 9 hole course with one of the best backdrops possible, the Chilkat River delta and mountain range. Each golfing experience is different and challenging and you never know what to expect on the course. Possibly a wondering moose or fish hunting brown bear.
