Captain Duane was great. Got us close to the whales but at a respectable distance. He worked hard to find as many whales as possible. Boat was clean and comfortable and had great viewing. Loved that it was a smaller group with more personal experience....More

We had the most awesome time and were there September 2016. We saw about 15 wales and many more Orcas close up. People that booked on the cruise ship were not that lucky. I think the trick lies in the knowledge of the skipper and...More

Hello, and thank you for your interest! May is an excellent time to come see whales in Alaska. All the whales are working their way back from Hawaii now and come May they are all home and ready for a feast. They don't eat... More

My friend and I will be on a Celebrity Ship arriving on Tuesday 7 July about 3 pm (until 10 pm). We are interested in your excursion, independent of the cruise ship. Are you able to accommodate us and if, so what is the cost? Once that is answered, how do I book? Thanks in advance Sally

Hi - What is the capacity of your whale watch boat/s?

Response from IcyStraitWhaleAdv | Property representative |
Hi! Our boat has a capacity of 28 but we only take 23 to ensure plenty of elbow room. We are small enough to get up close and personal with the whales but big enough to be sturdy and stable on the water! Cheers, Colleen
