Hoonah is the state's largest Tlingit settlement. At the Icy Strait Point Museum, my guide, Jeff Kjeldsen, gave one of the most interesting, informative tours of authentic Alaskan lifestyle and enormous insight into the coastal rainforest. While most of the Norwegian Sun passengers went to...More

This is a fun place to visit. The native tribe built it and run it. It reflects their personality while employing their people. Well done, and the benefit of not putting money into a cruise ships pockets.

Visited here during our visit to Hoonah. Very picturesque place. It was very peaceful and soothing. Several things to do, but the best part the the peacefulness.

This was a fantastic experience from the bus ride up the mountain to the prep from zip rider staff to the thrill of the ride itself!
