Gold rush peck is a wonderful entertaining educational man. Spent an hour gold panning in Hope Akaska. Got some gold to go home with. Eat at Titos cafe. Great lentil soup

We have the opportunity to visit Mr Peck in Hope Alaska he has a small stand with his wife mr peck it's a lit bit older I believe his in 70 s years old his a charming individual he will teach you had to gold panning for $ 20, 30 o 40 dollars you can try your luck at Gold... More

Myself, Gary, and my girlfriend June, visited Peck in Aug 2015 and everything was great ! Peck is former Airforce and I am a Former Marine. We bought a $60 bucket and had a ball ! Gold Rush Peck operates a gold panning operation in Hope, AK. He is very friendly and attentive to his customers and will gladly help you learn the proper way to pan for gold. Follow his instructions and you're sure to leave with some real gold.

Don't pass this guy up. He can be found next to the Hope Historical Museum. We had a blast and it's not easy. Gold Panning Peck is a completely loveable character, real as the gold in his claim. Great fun and he is a character!! We learned a lot about the hard work of gold panning as well. And got to take our little chips home with us. A nice souvenir!

We stopped in Hope, Alaska because we were told this is the place to go gold mining! We found Gold Panning Peck! He was fantastic and showed us how to pan gold in his water tank. My son has gold fever ;) so we tried several gold panning places while on vacation and while yes, this is set up for tourist, my kids found more gold here than in the other panning areas we tried. Peck is a great guy and we has lots of fun. Hope is a cute town to visit.

Gold Rush Peck is a genuine, good ol' American veteran. Even if you think you know how to pan already, go visit Gold Rush Peck for some expert advice and you'll be sure you know how to do it right, and undoubtedly increase your panning efficiency.
