There is a lot of local history in this little information center. It was wonderful to look at all their local artifacts and see the short movie. Also, the gift shop has some of the best prices we found.

The volunteers and staff at the visitor's center always have great suggestions for things to do in Petersburg. There is a great collection of information that the Forest Service makes available -- from lichen identification brochures to trail guides.
